What do Fukushima and San Diego have in common?
Answer: Both are the sites of a failed nuclear power plant, and both sites are actively dumping radioactive waste into the Pacific Ocean.
Join us, Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 10am to Noon, as we gather with other concerned citizens to protest and educate our neighbors on the ongoing dumping of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean at Fukushima and the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS). The pollutants are dumped into the Pacific Ocean controversial process known as “Dilute and Discharge.” The event starts at 10am, but we invite you to arrive early to help with signs and organizing.
